As a Veterinary Medical Officer for USDA APHIS Veterinary Services, as well as throughout his incredible 22 year career, Mr. Hollis has routinely exhibited the dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service provides leadership in ensuring the health and care of animals and plants for the main purpose of protecting American agriculture. They are also involved in regulating genetically engineered organisms, administering the Animal Welfare Act and carrying out wildlife damage management activities. The agency improves agricultural productivity and competitiveness and contributes to the national economy and the public health.
Mr. Hollis is a field employee for 13 counties who acts as a liaison between farmers and livestock as well as being involved with business owners and the issuance of government agency certifications. During his educational career, John earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and Phi Delta Theta.
