NAPERVILLE, IL, September 7, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Javier Navarro, MBA, Engineering Support Manager of Corn Products International, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering and maintenance management.

With 21 years of professional experience, Mr. Navarro specializes in designing equipment. As the engineering support manager of Corn Products International, he supports the operation of more than 30 plants worldwide. He also implements new technologies and process and equipment optimization for corn and tapioca (cassava) processing, oversees equipment and process design, and technically supports the manufacturing divisions. The company manufactures dextrose, starch, sweeteners and other ingredients including FOS, sorbitol and polyols.

Mr. Navarro received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in 1988 and his Master of Business Administration from Universidad Icesi in 2006. He is a member of the Colombian Association of Engineers and The Association for Maintenance Professionals. Through his result-oriented nature and skill in managing others, he has advanced through his field. In the future, he intends to generate a cultural change in the company to further improve its performance in North and South America.
