Michael N. Asahara Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Michael N. Asahara has led several teams to participate in the review of CAAC Aviation Certification Program and Engineering Infrastructure

GARDENA, CA, September 7, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael N. Asahara, President of Aviation Consultant Services, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in aviation technology.

Aviation Consultant Services, LLC was formed in March 2004. Its founder and president, Michael N. Asahara, began his professional aviation career in 1972 as an engineer for the United States Army Aviation Systems Command. Utilizing 37 years of professional experience, he currently excels as the president of the aviation consulting company. With expertise in aviation certification and technology, he oversees aviation business operations, consults with international and domestic aviation authorities, manufacturers on organization infrastructure resources and government standards. On a daily basis he and his team study advance processes and new technology to ensure currency of policies to be offered and applied to programs. Mr. Asahara with his team reviews organizational structures for proper resources, tools, expertise and training to be capable of designing a certifiable aircraft according to government standards.

Mr. Asahara received his post graduate degree from the Aviation Command (AVSCOM) United States Army Internship Program. With his love for airplanes and mechanical inventions, he decided to study mechanical engineering. He was appointed to various positions of responsibility, including Structural Engineer (FAA), Structures Manager (FAA) and ultimately the Manager of the Los Angeles Aircraft Certification Office (LAACO). From 1975 to 2002, he earned additional responsibilities which included Program Managing Shuttlecraft, MD-80/90 aircraft models and worked on various national safety or fact finding missions for the DCAS and FAA. From 1983 to 2002, he chaired or provided expertise for 14 major/minor transport airplane accident and incidents to the NTSB. Mr. Asahara has also developed several syllabus to mentor engineers in both the FAA and Defense Contract Administration. His expertise took him to the People's Republic of China (PRC) to train engineers in 2002. In 2004/2005 (after retirement), he was retained by the FAA and Human Technologies, Inc. to develop an Airframe Web-based instructional for structures.
