Remarkable Reporter Is Published In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

As a Reporter for the Times-News since 1986, Leigh has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The Times-News is a daily North Carolina newspaper which has been serving Henderson, Polk and Transylvania Counties in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina since 1881. They became a daily paper in December of 1985. It is now published in print as well as online. They have a circulation of approximately 20,000 and they average about 44,000 readers. The Times-News is a member of The New York Times Regional Media Group.
During her educational career, Leigh earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication. In addition to being a newspaper reporter, she is also a poet and a community leader who is actively involved with her church. Leigh is part of a community group called Fish, which helps all citizens in need of transportation assistance. She has also spoken at the local high school on Career Day.
