Dr. Shah is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. During his educational career, he completed his undergraduate degree in General Studies while studying at the Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda. He went on to earn his Medical degree in Women's Health from the University of Illinois.

Dr. Shah completed his internship and residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He is a member of Emergency Medical Associates, American Society of Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys reading as well as basketball and softball.
