The Phuket International Blues Rock Festival will be held between February 23rd and 26th 2012 and will attract acts from across the world.

PHUKET, THAILAND, January 07, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Organisers of the Phuket International Blues Rock Festival are gearing up for another year of performances from internationally renowned artists this February.
 
The annual musical celebration is returning to Bangtao Beach on the north-west coast of Phuket between February 23rd and 26th 2012, with a number of big-name musicians already confirmed.
 
Chris Thomas King and Rich Harper will be travelling from the USA to perform at the festival and will be joined by the likes of Ireland's Germaine Duffy and John Meyer's Blues Express from Australia, as well as Malay act AkashA.
 
Thursday February 23rd will feature a warm-up session before the main event begins on the Friday and continues on the Saturday, with performances running from 18:00 local time into the night.
 
In addition to the music, attendees can enjoy food and drink as well as darts and other games, while a festival wrap party will be held on the evening of Sunday February 26th.
 
General admission for the two main festival dates can be purchased for 1,500 baht (GBP30.60) at the door or for 1,200 baht for those booking in advance.
