Sonoma Energy Capital, LLC. has commenced activity on the G Brown location in the North Maunie Field. Schofield Oil and Gas the operator for Sonoma Energy Capital, has begun site preparation and has staked the location for the G Brown well.

FRISCO, TX, January 19, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonoma Energy Capital, LLC. has begun activity on the G Brown drilling location. Schofield Oil and Gas, the operator for Sonoma Energy Capital, has met with the mining company in staking the location for the G Brown well in the North Maunie Field. All required permits have also been secured from the Illinois State division of oil and gas. The North Maunie Field is in the heart of the Illinois basin, a prolific oil producing area that has produced approximately 4.3 billion barrels of oil since the turn of the century. The North Maunie Field has produced over 5 million barrels of oil from 7 oil producing horizons above 3000 feet. The target formations between 3155 feet and 4200 feet. the St. Louis, Salem and Warsaw, are high producing oil formations. Sonoma Energy Capital's operator Schofield Oil and Gas is an award winning operator in the Illinois Basin having located numerous Salem and Warsaw structures throughout the Illinois Basin.
